ResearchFN and Research Room alternatives for SEBI-regulated IPOs.
Both are real products with real adoption, and both are ahead of us on operating history and attestation. Neither publishes SEBI coverage, an India-resident deployment or INR pricing. Everything below is sourced to the vendor's own material and checked 12 September 2026.

Not legal advice. Reflects each vendor's own published material, checked 12 September 2026. Competitor products may have capabilities not shown on their websites, and two rows above record where they are ahead of us.
OfferingDesk vs NetRoadshow ResearchFN
The incumbent by scale. Where the comparison turns on hosting region, SEBI coverage and the reader model.
OfferingDesk vs Research Room
The better-documented regulatory competitor. Where the comparison turns on UK currency after PS26/16, and on a Singapore rule we declined to publish.
How to read these comparisons
Are these comparisons independently verified?
No. They are built from each vendor’s own public website and press materials, current as of the date on the page, and every claim names where we read it and when. Competitor products may have capabilities their websites do not show, which is why an absent capability is written as "not mentioned in public materials" rather than "no".
Why only two platforms?
ResearchFN and Research Room are the two most visibly marketed for pre-deal research distribution. We also reviewed data rooms, research-operations platforms and deal-data platforms in September 2026. None of them gates a document by blackout, jurisdiction, investor category or disclaimer, which is the job this product does — so comparing against them would flatter us without helping you.
Does either competitor serve the Indian market?
Neither publishes SEBI-specific compliance content, India data hosting or INR pricing as of September 2026.
Where are they ahead of you?
On operating history, on a live customer base, and on independent attestation — ResearchFN holds SOC 2 Type II and has run deals since 1997; we have run none and hold none. Research Room publishes a 24×7×365 support commitment and a broader set of live jurisdiction pages than we will cover at launch. Those rows are in the tables.
