OfferingDesk by Firmsdata vs NetRoadshow ResearchFN
ResearchFN, part of NetRoadshow's deal-marketing suite, is a well-established platform for pre-IPO research distribution with strong adoption on FCA and SEC-market deals. It does not publish India-specific compliance coverage, and its published AWS regions are us-east-1 and eu-west-1. This is where the two differ, built from what each publishes.

Questions about this comparison
Is ResearchFN a bad product?
No. It is a well-regarded, purpose-built platform with strong adoption among bulge-bracket banks running FCA and SEC-market deals, an operating history going back to 1997 and SOC 2 Type II. On several axes it is ahead of us today and we have said so in the table. It simply does not publish India-specific compliance coverage, which is where OfferingDesk is built to lead.
Does ResearchFN support SEBI-regulated Indian IPOs?
Its public materials do not mention SEBI, India or INR pricing, and its published AWS regions are us-east-1 and eu-west-1. If your deal is SEBI-regulated and Reg. 16(2) residency applies to you, that is worth confirming with them directly rather than taking our word for it.
Can we run OfferingDesk alongside our existing NetRoadshow relationship?
Yes, for a specific deal or tranche — though most banks standardise on one platform per deal so the audit trail stays in one place.
Our counsel drafts disclaimers to fit our current platform. Does that change?
No. Bring your counsel's disclaimer text unchanged. OfferingDesk versions whatever text you give it by stage, category and jurisdiction, stores the SHA-256 of the exact rendered text each investor accepted, and forces re-acceptance when it changes. We do not ask your lawyers to redraft for our flow.
